Thanksgiving Weekend
I have been so bad at blogging lately.
I didn't intend for all those curated posts to go out back to back to back but they definitely did, and that's because I have been so lazy! I feel like, for a minute, I kind of lost the direction I wanted this blog to go, and it has been really hard to figure out what to do with it. I'm still trying to figure it out. So for now, I'm just going to go back to writing about whatever I want to write about, good or bad, and just keep figuring it out along the way.
Thanksgiving weekend was soooo nice! We drove up to Logan Thursday morning to spend the day with Brandon's family, but first stopped to see his extended family. Because we have a new little nephew on that side, we just did Thanksgiving with immediate family, but it was so good to see everyone else beforehand! After lunch/dinner that afternoon, we went to a park and launched rockets. The guys were having so much fun with it, until one got lost and it was too dark to find it. But it was funny to watch them; I feel like they revert back to little kids when they do stuff like that. They just get so excited! That night we decorated trees for the babies. We did it at Brandon's parents' house since it was already dark outside, but it was fun to have everyone help us a little bit. We stayed the night, then went to the cemetery the next morning to get them all ready for Christmas.
The rest of the weekend we took it super easy. On Friday we dog-sat and played outside, Saturday we watched too many hours of Fixer Upper and decorated for Christmas, and yesterday we went to Christmas in the Wizarding World at the mall (vlog to come) and then just relaxed! Neither of us were ready to go back to work today. I'm hoping this week is nice and speeds by!
We have three vlogs rolling out this week that are super short, and in all honesty, probably not super exciting. But it was so nice to just focus on ourselves and family this weekend and be a little more unplugged, so thank you for understanding! Hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving!
